Help !!!
--------
To all friendly programmers out there....
Has anyone got an assembler routine to save IFF ILBM files ?
At the moment I use Amos Pro's Save IFF command which is ok, but
does not support AGA and doesn't let me save my fractal information
as a chunk. I have 'C' routines to do these things, but they are VERY
long, and I do not have a 'C' compiler.
Also: I need to know how to save a sequence of pictures as an IFF Anim
file.
I would really like a routine to floodfill an area using the blitter -
at the moment I use a custom 68000 routine which is very slow. I know
nothing about the Amiga's hardware, but lots about the 68000.
Does anyone have a list of instruction execution times for any the
68000/020/030/040/881 or 882 processors? Any of these would be very
useful to me. Eg. is add.l d1,d1 faster than asl.l #1,d1 etc...
I would be very grateful if anyone could help me out with any of the
above problems, either directly or by suggesting the names of any
(good) relevant books. Contact me at the address in Registration.doc.
